Want to see the Giro in 2012 (5th to 27th May)?
Once again in 2012 we are privileged to have the Giro pass by our doorstep. This time on Stage 13 & 14 on it's way from Savona up to the mountaintop finish at Cervinia.
On the 18th May we'll see the sprinters finish at Cervere, perhaps Cav's last stage if he's riding. Cervere is only a 60km ride away through some beautiful vineyards. Enough time to work up a thirst / appetite while soaking in the relaxed atmosphere you'll only find at the Giro.
On Stage 14, 19th May the race route passes by Gios-Torino in Volpiano. The famous historical Italian bike manufacturer. Marco Gios has suggested we join him and Aldo for this spectacle outside their premises. Their shop is something special to see on any ordinary day. This is a 40km ride, again through beautiful scenery.
