Bra - Bra

First of all, I should clarify; Bra is a place, a beautiful place in Le Langhe, not far from us.
Today we took part in the Medio Fondo event 110km over very undulating terrain (1740m dsl) in this stunning wine region.

over 2000 riders took part

we were way back at the start, but made up good ground .....

....over the climbs & down the descents

some cloud cover prevented overheating

 As we were finishing (ultimo 2km) the winners of the Gran Fondo event passed us, 3 guys in a break, looking smooth getting ready to sprint it out.
Loz did fantastically well in her first event, so here's to the next event - Milano San Remo in 2 weeks.
